Ash 'River' Bar Table

  • Live edge local ash boards

  • Clear epoxy 'river'

  • Custom fabricated steel tubing base, custom color painted finish

The client reached out to me expressing his wish to use ash planks harvested from his property after Emerald Ash Borers killed most of their ash trees. They wanted to turn an unfortunate event into something nice.

Without transforming the planks too much, we decided to showcase the original character by doing a thinner profile bar height table.

At the client's request, I fabricated an industrial style steel frame from 1" square tubing and matched the paint color to their existing furniture.
